Functional Testing: CTE

This page contains papers on the classification-tree method CTM and the classification-tree editor CTE. The classification-tree method is a testing method for the systematic design of test cases on basis of the specification. The classification-tree editor is a graphical editor supporting the application of the classification-tree method. CTM and CTE are widely used in industrial practice.

First papers on CTM and CTE were published in 1993 by Grimm, Grochtmann and Wegener. New enhancements were recently published by Lehmann and Wegener. Jan Ebert, Andreas Fett, Christian Klaproth, Andreas Krämer, Eckard Lehmann, Stefan Ocke, Joachim Wegener, and Razorcat Development GmbH were involved in the development of the latest Classification-Tree Editor version: the CTE XL (eXtended Logics).
